Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Malá Upa
In 1779, future emperor Joseph II visited Malá Úpa, accompanied by the famous general Laudon. As part of his religious policy, he had a chapel built for the mountain-dwellers at this spot, and this chapel became a symbol of Malá Úpa. The picturesque Saint Peter and Saint Paul chapel was at that time the highest chapel located in Bohemia (975m above sea level). Regular services are held in the chapel during the year, except in the winter months. You can find a magical little cemetary right beside the chapel.
Sněžka- Sněžka is our highest mountain (1602 metres above sea level)
You can reach the top by using the cable car from Pec pod Sněžkou or by foot from Pomezní Bud. From the small 'post office' loghouse you can send a postcard with a postmark from Sněžka.
Labe Spring and Pančavský Waterfall
Not far from the Vrcholík rock formations on the main peak of the Giant Mountains in the Labe meadow is our biggest river, Labe. Since the year 1968 the spring has been marked with the symbols of the 24 cities to which the Labe flows. Walk about 30 minutes from the Labe spring to visit the Pančavský waterfall.
The Large and Small Lakes
The lakes on the Polish side of the Giant Mountains are the remains of an ancient glacier. You can see them from the main peak of the 170m stone wall, or you can walk around Malý Stav with its up to 60m high moraine, as well as rich and prized vegetation, on the Polish side of the mountains.
The Black Mountain Bog
Nature reserve with a 2km educational path with 6 stops along a wooden boardwalk. The reserve is 65 hectares and is 2.5m at its deepest point. Located between the Černa and Světla mountains.
Rýchory
The eastern-most part of the Giant Mountains with its tremendous natural beauty, summit between Horní Maršov, Svoboda nad Úpou and Žacléř. From the 16th to the 18th centuries, gold and silver were mined on these hillsides. Eastern Krnapu's ecological center is housed in the Rýchorská chalet.
Aichelburg Forest Castle
The renovated forest castle with a view tower in Temný Důl was opened to the public in the year 2000. The quadrilateral stone tower ends in a castellation with a Slavonic flag, and the interior features a modern designed wooden reception hall. The keys to the castle are available at the Veselý Výlet gallery and information center in Temný Důl.
Zoo Safari
The Dvoře Králové nad Labem zoo is one of the most impressive zoos in Europe and the largest in the Czech Republic in terms of the number of animals it has (more than 2000 animals of 300 species on 72 hectares). African ungulates and rhinoceri are this zoo's specialty, as well as wild beasts, primates, and birds.

Adršpašsko-Teplické Rocks
The picturesque group of sandstone rocks cover an area of 20 kilometres squared at some 500m above sea level. Sandstone rock city with many stunning rock formations and pools, 1700 rock towers - a climber's paradise. Enjoy the small and large waterfalls, and swimming in large springs and pols in the middle of the rocks. The area around the rocks features marked educational trails is great for hiking and cycling.
Kuks Castle
A Baroque castle copmlex founded at the end of the 17th century by F.A. Špork as a spa with 3 healing springs. Today the area features a hospital, monastery, pharmacy with period furniture and a park. Without a doubt, Braun's larger than life-sized sandstone statues are the most remarkable of the area's decorative features.
